My girlfriend and I moved to San Francisco to a small 1 bedroom apartment. I work for a corrosion engineering company in Southern California doing data visualizations, presentation and data work with Google Earth also I work on a whole host of other GIS , web, and electronic related projects. I mainly work from home Mon-Fri so I needed a good workspace. Both Katherine and I have desks in the living room as well as a dining table, futon couch, leather recliner, a bookshelf and filing cabinet in a space that is about 18' by 12' so it is a tight fit. I made a magazine and book rack on the wall that you can see in the pictures. Also I have a photo wire hanging with magnets attaching the pictures as well as the other pictures above my desk being held up by a magnet attracted to the metal thumbtack underneath. My dog Kali also lives with us and her favorite place in the world is the cave under my desk (as shown in on of the pictures).
